Project Description

Construction of fourteen nr single storey semi-detached houses and one shared core building , together with car parking and the formation of an adoptable access road.

The houses were timber frame construction with larch/eternit external cladding.

This project was awarded the "Design Award for New Build Housing" by the Scottish Borders Council Design Awards Scheme 2009. 

This project was a direct replacement for the Marchmont private care facility which was closed down.
